Information Delivery and Wellness: We will focus on reducing the number of incidents of Prostate and Colon Cancers as well as reduce the use of tobacco consumption in African American Communities. We will implement and promote wellness plans throughout the Fraternity, the church and community. As a part of our War Plan, the American Cancer Society has asked Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. to implement Body and Soul: A Celebration of Healthy Eating & Living in the Black Church in the United States. Body & Soul is a wellness program designed especially for the African American churches. The goal of the program is to encourage church members to eat more fruits and vegetables for better health. Advocacy and Justice: A targeted communications campaign to engage the Sigma membership in legislative issues of particular interest to African American Community. This campaign will provide measurable results through tracking the response of the membership. We are asking all Sigmas to take action when you receive the Code Blue Message from President Paul Griffin. You will be asked to e-mail your Congressperson or Senator.
