PBS Scholarship Recipient & Alain Leroy Locke Honors Chapter Application Process Announcement

Please join me in congratulating Bro. Justin Jones for being selected as the recipient of a $1000 from the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity International Scholarship Program.  Bro. Jones is a Senior Civil Engineering major from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Thanks to Bro. Theo Peugh, Gulf Coast Regional Director of Education, for following through on the request of Bro. William Powell, International Director of Education, on the Fall 2010 Scholarship Program by distributing the Scholarship Information to our Collegiate Brothers and encouraging them to apply .  I would like to personally encourage more of brothers to take advantage of this opportunity in the future.

At this time I’d also like to announce that the application process for the Alain Leroy Locke Honors Chapter will officially open on January 15, 2011.  Please refer to the document below for more information on the criteria and application process.  Again, I’d like to encourage our Collegiate Brothers with outstanding academic achievement to apply for this illustrious honor within our Fraternity.

Fraternally yours,
