Statement On Hazing
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. takes any form of reported hazing very seriously. Hazing has not and does not represent the tradition and principles of the 95 year history of our fraternity. Specifically pertaining to the unfortunate death of Prairie View A&M student Donnie Wade, II, the fraternity has and will continue to work closely with the campus officials and the Hempstead Police concerning this situation.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. sends our prayers and condolences to Mr. Wade’s parents and the Prairie View A&M community for their loss. Although it is inappropriate to respond in detail about this particular incident, we want to assure all involved parties that new information and updates will be provided when appropriate.
